Biography
Piper Bateman is a multi-talented musician and songwriter originally from Fallston, Maryland. Music is in Piper’s blood, as her grandparents met in a country western band and toured throughout the US and Canada together in the 1950’s. It was evident that music was what she was born to do when she started excelling at her first instrument, the violin, at the young age of 5. Soon after she learned the guitar, while also focusing on her true passion of singing. She hasn’t stopped since and continued performing steadily as she grew up. She moved to Nashville to pursue music and songwriting after graduating from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelors Degree in May 2017.
Piper now performs regularly with her band at several of the most famous Honky Tonks in downtown Nashville. She is also a published songwriter, with her first cut debuting in March of 2021 titled “Sorry I Couldn’t Love You” — performed by rising country artist TracieLynn.
Piper’s sound as an artist is unique; a combination of blues, rock, pop and country. She is also a captivating performer, with her impressive and comfortable stage presence, she can entertain an audience of any age. Her voice is powerful yet warm and soulful; as she is inspired by country and rock singers ranging from Miranda Lambert and Shania Twain to Sheryl Crow and Janis Joplin.
